1963 Ford GT
Here's a quick look at a classic car and approach to designing one.
This was the very beginning of the exploration for the GT which was eventually shown at the 1964 New York Automobile Show.
You can see below that the actual vehicle was very faithful to the original concept drawing.
All because Henry Ford originally wanted to purchase Ferrari, but when they turned him down, he simply followed the "If you can't buy them, beat them" position.
It was the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times in a row, from 1966 to 1969.
